In an exclusive interview Professor Albert Einstein, recently arrived in this country to lecture here at the Institute for Advanced Study, warned that “care must be taken lest a too great and too sudden stream of immigration to Palestine lead to an economic crisis, as was the case with the forced immigration of Polish Jews a few years ago.” This is important, said the Professor, “for viewed in the long run, the reconstruction of Palestine is the most important factor for the whole of Jewry.”
