Diners at a New York Federation dinner heard President Calvin Coolidge praise Federation in a radio address from Washington. “I want you to know,” he said, “that I feel you are making good citizens, that you are strengthening the government, that you are demonstrating the supremacy of the spiritual life and helping establish the Kingdom of God on Earth.”
