Criticism of the Nazi regime is no longer possible in Poland, it became apparent last night with the suppression of a mass meeting of German Jewish refugees. The committee in charge was forbidden to read a resolution which touched on the Jewish persecution in Germany and attacked the Nazi regime.

An agreement was signed recently between the Polish and Nazi governments for closer cooperation against attacks on either government. In a supplementary agreement, the censorship divisions of the two governments agreed to suppress criticism of both regimes.

In practice this means that no criticism of the Nazi regime is allowed in Poland, while the columns of the Polish papers are open to the most flagrant pro-Nazi propaganda.
