Detroit Meat Shops to Eliminate Help

Having gone meatless for two weeks as a result of a strike of union workers in kosher meat markets here, consumers of kosher meat in Detroit are now faced by a serious problem.

The ninety owners of kosher markets in Detroit have united to open twenty-five butcher shops on a co-operative basis, in order to eliminate use of outside help, the owners planning to do their own work.
