The second group of German-Jewish children who are being brought to the United States to complete their education arrived yesterday aboard the liner Washington. The first squad landed last Friday.

Yesterday’s arrivals numbered nine—six boys and three girls, ranging in age from eleven to fourteen. They entered on immigration quota visas.

They were met at the pier by Miss Cecilia Razovsky of the German-Jewish Children’s Aid, Inc., 245 Fifth avenue, under whose care the children will be during their stay in America. She stated that members of yesterday’s group will be placed with private families in the Midwest and along the Eastern seaboard.

A total of 250 German Jewish boys and girls will be sent to this country from the Reich in the next few months. They will receive training in vocations that will aid them later in earning a livelihood. Whenever feasible, it is planned to reunite them with their parentts.
