“It is not our business to engage in polemics with Sir Oswald Mosley, because this is an internal concern of British politics,” the Zionist Juedische Rundschau says in a long article on Mosley’s attack on the Jews at his recent Albert Hall meeting.
“Those who know British conditions must be astounded at what Mosley said. For even if it were true that the majority of the Jews in England are opposed to British Fascism, the same holds good of the majority of the British people, right up to the most conservative.
“British statesmen, members of parliament, leaders of public life, the British press, which is almost entirely without Jewish influence, are united in opposition to the Mosley group. Why then does Sir Oswald complain of the Jews? Is it because he thinks that agitation against the Jews will create new sentiment for his movement?
HIS EXPLANATION
“Mosley says that his movement is not anti-Semitic, and that it is calumny invented by the Jews that it is anti-Semitic, and in order to punish them for this calumny he now becomes actually anti-Semitic. The assertion that Jews are fundamentally opposed to Fascism is not tenable.
“In Italy many prominent Jews are definitely adherents of Fascism and entirely in its service. In Italy, Fascism is not anti-Jewish; in England the Jews are as little Fascist as the non-Jews. And with Mosley’s present attitude, it is hardly to be expected that the Jewish population should be more favorable to him than the others.”
Meanwhile the Jenaische Zeitung reprints an article which appeared in the Hammer, written by the English Fascist, Leese (the leader of the Imperial Fascist League, which is anti-Mosley), in which he writes:

“Sir Oswald Mosley married a woman of Jewish blood, so that his children, too, have Jewish blood. The paid agents of the British Union of Fascists spare no effort to hide this important fact, or to confuse it. It is obvious that all the threats which Sir Oswald directs against the Jews are a fake.”
“When Mosley created his party he said. according to the Jewish Chronicle of August 26: ‘I shall neither conduct nor tolerate anti-Jewish propaganda,’ and in the Daily Mail of January 29, 1934, he wrote: ‘We are accused of anti-Semitism and racial and religious persecution. This charge is untrue’.”
