activities in Poland was indicated in a statement issued by the Jewish Merchants Association of Poland on October 24, when it was declared that reports charging certain Jewish businessmen with facilitating the import of German goods into the country were untrue. At the time it was also being said that German firms were using Jewish agents to approach Jewish merchants.
