Jews must fight to prevent creation of a new economic and intellectual ghetto, Rabbi Morris Lazaron of Baltimore told an audience of 1,200 at a Chanukah celebration in Temple Kehilath Israel last night.
“Jewish people are standing at the defense end of the world and must reawaken a new Maccabean spirit to fight the economic and intellectual ghetto being forced upon them throughout the world to replace the old Russian and medieval ghettos of Europe.” Rabbi Lazaron said.
