Wise Upholds Britain As Mandatory Power

Praising Britain for its attitude toward the Jews, Rabbi Stephen S. Wise, who spoke here last night on the “Christian-Jewish Tragedy,” declared that if he were asked to choose the mandatory power, he would have no hesitation in handing the Palestine mandate to Great Britain, despite the fact that obstacles had been placed in the way of Jewish efforts.
