Americans in Palestine is not to be interfered with under the mandate.

The court held the ordinance not a violation, stating that “all legislation interferes with established rights of somebody, but that is no reason for saying it is invalid.”

The case was generally considered a test of whether or not Americans having investments in Palestine are subject to the laws of that country.

Two distinguished Jewish writers, Stefan Zweig and Sholom Asch, arrived here yesterday on the Conte di Savoia. Mr. Asch will do some research work for his forthcoming novel while in the United States.
