‘within the Gates’ Back After Ban in Boston

“Within the Gates,” the Sean O’Casey drama with Lillian Gish, returned to the National Theatre last night.

The play was to have been performed in Boston, but authorities ruled against it at a late hour. Miss Gish portrays the role of an immoral lady in “Within the Gates.”

ENTER PRODUCING FIELD

“Let Freedom Ring,” a dramatization of Grace Lumpkin’s novel, “To Make My Bread,” will be the first venture of a new producing firm formed by Albert Bein and Jack Goldsmith. Bein made the dramatization. Goldsmith is a former newspaperman.
