George Z. Medalie, president of the Jewish Board of Guardians, yesterday announced the appointment of Harry M. Shulman as director of the Hawthorne School for delinquent boys and Cedar Knolls School for delinquent girls at Hawthorne, New York.
With Mr. Shulman’s assumption of office, a new program for the prevention and control of delinquency and crime will be undertaken at these institutions, Dr. John Slawson, executive director of the Guardian announced.
