The process of ousting Jews from their economic positions in Poland was given new impetus today with the issuance of a decree imposing special taxes on unofficial business brokers. Ninety per cent of such brokers are Jewish.
A questionnaire has been sent by the government to all industrial firms, asking them to submit lists of agents who distribute their products and the amount of business done by each distributor with the firm. The purpose of this questionnaire is to levy a special tax on distributing agents.
