Announcement has been made here that a state charter has been granted to the Cape Cod Hebrew Congregation.
The synagogue, the first in Cape history, is headed by George Shulman, Hyannis attorney, who was instrumental in getting the charter.
Rabbi Samson A. Shain, a graduate of the Boston Hebrew Teachers’ College, Harvard University and the Institute of Religion, is spiritual leader of the congregation.
