The twenty-third anniversary of Hadassah will be celebrated at the annual $25 donor luncheon of the Brooklyn Hadassah at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel next Wednesday. The occasion will also mark the seasonal culmination of fund-raising for the support and maintenance of the Hadassah medical institutions in Palestine.
More than 1,000 members and friends are expected to attend. Among the guests will be Rabbi Abba Hillel Silver of Cleveland, Rabbi A. M. Heller, Magistrate Jeanette G. Brill, Rebekah Kohut, Mrs. Edward C. Blum, Mrs. Mortimer Brenner, Mrs. Louis Gold-ring, Miss Thelma Goldfarb and Mrs. Moses P. Epstein, national chairman of the Rothschild-Hadassah-University Hospital Fund.
Mrs. Isidore Taub is chairman of the luncheon. She is assisted by Mrs. Zvi H. Rubinstein and Mrs. David Sobel.
