More than 700 delegates representing camps in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Connecticut, Virginia and other States attended the banquet Sunday marking the annual Order Day of the Order Sons of Zion, held at the Central Plaza.
Dr. Israel Goldstein, president of the Jewish National Fund of America, and Dr. Harris J. Levine, chairman of the Palestine Committee of the Order, presented more than forty Golden Book certificates to members who have distinguished themselves in the work for the Jewish National Fund throughout the year.
A call to Jewish youth to join the ranks of the Order was made in an address by Joseph Kraemer, grand master. Other speakers included Louis Myers, Louis Rimsky, Isaac Allen and Heinrich Abramowitz, national officers of the Order.
