The Soviet government will also permit the settlement of German-Jewish refugees in Biro-Bidjan, it was understood. Several hundred Jewish doctors and qualified workers are now settled in Russia as the result of efforts on the part of foreign Jewish organizations. These settlers from Germany have adjusted themselves well to Soviet life and the Soviet authorities are interested in seeing more German-Jewish specialists settled in the country, especially in Bureya.
