Dr. David J. Kalisky, a well known Zionist, has been honored by the President of the French Republic with the decoration of the Legion of Honor, it was announced yesterday.
According to the French Consulate, the decoration was conferred upon Dr. Kalisky in recognition of the cooperation and mutual good will which he has helped to establish between American and French medical men. Dr. Kalisky recently visited the most important hospitals and universities in France as head of a group of noted American physicians.
Dr. Kalisky was formerly honorary secretary of the administrative committee of the Zionist Organization.
