Halfof Holy Land’s Orange Crop Damaged by Long Heat Wave

Fifty percent of the crop in the orange plantations in Palestine was damaged by the long and intense heat wave, it was announced here today.

The announcement was made after an estimate by experts. The plantations located on the hills suffered more damages than those in the plain.

The inauguration of a Jewish colony named after General Ja### Smuts of South Africa was announced today. The ceremony will take place on Wednesday, in the Valley of Zebulun where the colony is located.
