Julius Bolgar, business manager of the New York Times Photo Service in Berlin, was today ordered to leave Germany within five days.
“Bolgar, who is a Hungarian Jew, has repeatedly given expression to his criticism and unfriendly attitude towards the leaders of our government. His remaining in Germany is therefore undesirable,” an official explanation of the government office states.
Mr. Boigar, together with his family, will leave Germany tonight. The order for his deportation came as a surprise.
