Two Jewish women were among the victims of the disaster of the “Maxim Gorky,” the largest airplane in the world, which crashed here yesterday when it collided in the air with another plane.

The Jewish women were Raisa Nudelman, an engineer, and Anna Mirkin, wife of the Commandant of the Central Soviet Aero-Institute.
