William Rosenwald, a national co-chairman of the United Jewish Appeal, #as guest of honor and principal speaker tonight at a mass meeting sponsored by officers of the Appeal and captains of fund-raising teams. Tonight’s meeting was in preparation for the actual launching of the relief campaign here on June 23. Officers of the Appeal in Scranton are: I. E. Oppenheim, honorary chairman; A. B. Cohen, chairman; Georg Phillips, Leon M. Levy, and Isadore Finkelstein, vice-chairmen; M. L. Goodman, treasurer; Samuel Shair, secretary; Isadore Krotosky and Louis Ooettinger, honorary vice-chairmen.
