Half a dozen professors discussed various facets of the career of Maimonides at a memorable meeting of the Harvard Philosophy Club at Phillips Brooks House. Some of the most distinguished members of the Harvard faculty were in the audience.

Prof. William E. Hocking, who presided, described the place of the great Jewish medieval sage in philosophy. The professor declared “The Guide for the Perplexed” is one of the greatest books of all time.

Other speakers were Profs. La Piana, A. D. Nock, G. Sarton, William Thomson and Harry A. Wolfson. All are celebrated scholars.
