The question whether the Polish Jews in America should start an independent campaign for funds for the relief of Jews in Poland will be discussed here at the twenty-seventh annual convention of the Federation of Polish Jews in America. The convention will open Saturday at the Clarendon-Brunswick Hotel.
Four hundred delegates from all over the country are expected to attend. Another question to be taken up will be the calling of a world conference of Federations of Polish Jews to be held in London.
The convention will be addressed by Benjamin Winter, president of the Federation; Z. Tygel, executive director; Rabbi Stephen S. Wise, Alexander Kahn and others. The Polish Ambassador to the United States is expected to be present.
