Prof. Julius Berend Cohen, author, inventor and professor of organic chemistry, died in Leeds today at the age of 76.
Prof. Cohen was a member of the Leeds University faculty until 1924. He was considered a great authority in the field of chemistry and was an expert on smoke abatement.
