The United Press, in a dispatch from its Berlin correspondent yesterday, reported anti-Jewish demonstrations in Berlin in front of three Jewish ice-cream parlors.
An apparently organized mob of several hundred, including a scattering of uniformed storm troopers and Hitler youth, picketed three Jewish ice-cream parlors in Berlin, smashing one show window and forcing one shop to close. Police dispersed the crowd, many of whom were obviously sympathetic to the Jews and shouted “Scandal” and “Shame”, the United Press reports.
