Many Noted Jews Depart for Europe

A number of noted Jews were to sail for Europe and Palestine Saturday on ships of various lines.

On the passenger list of the Ile de France were: Max Reinhardt, famous producer, and his bride; Rabbi Stephen S. Wise and Mrs. Wise, Mrs. Allen Lehman, sister-in-law of the governor and N. Feinerman, secretary of the American branch of the Yiddish Scientific Institute. Mr. Feinerman is sailing to attend the institute’s tenth anniversary congress at Wilno, Poland.

Former Ambassador to Germany James W. Gerard. General Sessions Judge Otto A. Rosalsky and James Speyer, banker, were to sail on the Cunard liner Majestic.

Mrs. Edward Jacobs, president of Hadassah, was to leave on the Italian liner Conte di Savoia for her seventh visit to Palestine after which she will attend the Lucerne World Zionist Congress.

Rabbi Harry J. Stern of Montreal and Rabbi Leon Fram of eDtroit were to sail for Palestine on the Italian liner, Conte di Savoia.
