Relief Minister Michael Kyrkos today announced that he has raised the allocation for relief purposes to the Salonica Jewish Community.
The new budget amounts to 650,000 drachmas, instead of the 40,000 drachmas formerly granted the Jews for relief purposes.
Kyrkos also promised that he would help the Jews rebuild the slums section in the Jewish quarters.
