The co-chairmen of the United Jewish Appeal yesterday called on officers of local campaigns throughout the United States to forward outstanding funds to the national office. Letters sent out from the office, 100 East Forty-second Street, pointed out that the money is needed immediately for relief of Jews in Europe. The appeal has closed the first half of its $3,250,000 drive.
