Bernard P. Offner and Albert J. Fleisher won the amateur radio contests conducted here by a local furniture company. They will get a free trip to New York and broadcast on a coast-to-coast amateur program their composition, “East St. Louis Blues.”

The Shaare Zedek Sisterhood gave its annual ten-dollar “give-or-get” dinner the other night. H. F. Epstein, chief orthodox rabbi of St. Louis, was the principal speaker. Mrs. L. Goodman and Mrs. D. Klein, officers of the organization, also spoke.
