Of 2,000 acres of new citrus land planted last year, Jews in Palestine planted about 1,250 acres, the Arab press reports today.

It was learned today that several hundred Arabs from the southern part of Palestine held a meeting yesterday at Bet Gubrin and decided not to permit the sale of land in the southern district to Jews.
