Jews of Germany, through the Reichsvetretung der Deutschen Juden, German-Jewish representative body, today submitted a memorandum to the government on the new “ghetto” laws passed last Sunday by the Reichstag at its extra ordinary session in Nuremberg.

The memorandum presents a number of demands concerning the regulation of Jewish life in Germany under the new laws, and for securing the normal economic existence of the Jews.

An official communique issued tonight by the Reichsvertretung reads:

“The Reichsvertretung der Deutschen Juden, the most responsible and leading body of German Jewry, has worked out a number of measures on the basis of the new Reich laws. These measures will be of most decisive importance for a planned Jewish life. The Reichsvertretung is submitting these plans to the proper authorities for realization.”

Addressing a rally of “Aryan” teachers in Nuremberg, Julius Streicher, most rabid anti-Semite in Germany, emphasized the importance of the new anti-Jewish laws and declared that it is the duty of every teacher to instruct his pupils in race questions.

“The fight against the Jews is only beginning,” the Nazi Jewbaiter pointed out, “because Jews the world-over now attack us stronger than ever.”
