Seven Montreal youths who indulged in anti-Semitic activities in connection with the forthcoming elections are in jail today awaiting trial on Tuesday.

The youths were caught redhanded by police as they were tearing down election placards in Outremont, the Jewish section here, and replacing them with anti-Semitic posters couched in violent language.

When brought before Judge Morris Tetreau in police court, the seven culprits were excoriated for their action, the judge declaring that “there is no place for racial prejudice in Canadian politics.”
