A group of twenty-eight American Jewish pioneers bound for Palestine, who had cancelled passage on an Italian liner because of President Roosevelt’s warning, arrived here today on the Gdynia-American liner Pilsudski. They were given a banquet at the headquarters of the Hechalutz (Palestine pioneer) Organization.

The youths are joining a group of 700 Polish-Jewish emigrants going to Palestine by way of Constanza, Rumanian Black Sea port.
