Archbishop Victor Puiu Visarion of Bukovina today wired Chief Rabbi Jakob Niemirower of Bucharest his regrets at the indignity suffered by Dr. Niemirower when he has prevented by the Cuzist Deputy Robu from attending a banquet in the Archbishop’s honor. The Archbishop in his wire condemns the actions of the anti-Semitic deputy. Dr. Niemirower had been invited to attend the ceremonies marking the installation of the new Archbishop.
