The Executive Board of the Warsaw Jewish Community today adopted a resolution sharply protesting against the proclamation of a representative legislative council by the Palestine Government. The resolution characterized the council as an attack on Jewish rights in Palestine and expressed the solidarity of the community with the struggle of Palestine Jewry against the council.
The resolution was cabled to the Palestine Executive of the Jewish Agency, the Executive of the Agudath Israel and to the Palestine Jewish National Council, all in Jerusalem, Numerous other Jewish communities and organizations throughout Poland adopted similar resolutions.
