Berlin’s first race defilement trial in which the defendant was an “Aryan” was concluded yesterday with the sentencing of Alfred Klaffke, 38, to a jail term of sixteen months. Klaffke was convicted of maintaining relations with a Jewish widow.
The Nueremberg laws “for the protection of German blood and German honor” have been applied chiefly to Jewish men for maintaining relations with “Aryan” women.
