New York City will tomorrow begin the campaign to raise its share of the national quota of $2,500,000 for the United Palestine Appeal, it was announced today by Nathan Straus, chairman of the Greater New York drive and treasurer of the nation-wide effort.
Mr. Straus announced the following officers will be associated with him in the local drive: associate chairman: Harold Jacobi and Maurice Levin; vice-chairman: Dr. G. A. Lowenstein and Michael Schaap; treasurer, Arthur M. Lamport; associate treasurer, Abraham L. Liebovitz; executive director, Samuel Blitz.
