Police in various parts of the country continued to make scores of arrests today as the anti-Semitic Iron Guardists defied the order of the Government dissolving uniformed political troops.

The guards remained adamant in their refusal to surrender their arms. In Jassy, members of the organization stormed the courthouse in an attempt to secure the release of prisoners taken by the police.

After having been repulsed, they ranged through the town, smashing windows of Jewish-owned shops.
