The Governor of the province of La Pampa, Dr. Perez Virasoro, was so impressed with the exhibits from the Baron Hirsch and Narcisse Leven colonies of the Jewish Colonization Association (ICA) at the agricultural exhibition held recently at Santa Rose, that he decided to pay a personal visit to one of them. He paid a visit to the Colony Narcisse Leven, where he expressed his keen appreciation of the colonization efforts of the ICA, and praised the work accomplished by the colonies.

Great significance is ascribed to the visit of the Governor, the Jewish press pointing out that “at a time when the anti-Semitic campaign is gaining ground, this visit of the Governor should show to the Government the great usefulness of the Jews in the economic life of the nation.”
