Only as an independent State can Palestine fulfill the just aspirations of the Jewish people, Charles Edward Russell told leaders of orthodox Jewry at the convention banquet of the Mizrachi-Zionist Organization of America.

The president of the Pro-Palestine Federation declared that England has “manifestly no intention of carrying out the provisions of the Balfour Declaration.”

“Not only Jews but fair-minded people everywhere that have the liberal outlook join in emphatic protest against British policy,” he said.
