Concern lest the Nazi anti-Semitic policy prove a boomerang against German minorities living in various countries is voiced today by Dr. Saul Schiemann, leader of the Latvian German minority, in an article in the Neues Wiener Tagblatt.
Dr. Schiemann warns that already German minorities are being threatened with treatment as “guests,” in imitation of the official Nazi attitude toward Jews residing in Germany. He also points out that the German language is no longer the cultural language of Eastern Europe, a fact which is directly traceable to the persecution of the Jews.
