Spanish Studied at German-Jewish Schools

The Spanish language, which has never been taught in German Jewish schools, is being added to the curriculum of the Jewish school system in Germany.

The Jewish community organizations have decided to introduce the study of Spanish and Portuguese so that Jewish children who may later emigrate to countries where these languages are spoken will find the task of adjustment easier. The geography and economics of Latin America is also to be taught in the "ghetto" schools.
