Measures to prevent illegal acts against Jewish colonies will be personally organized by High Commissioner Sir Arthur Grenfell Wauchope in visits to all districts affected by the campaign of incendiarism, Sir Arthur told Jewish colonists today.
Representatives of colonies in the Valley of Jezreel asked Government reparations for damage done by Arab vandals in recent weeks. To this request Sir Arthur replied that the first essential was to prevent further disturbances. He emphasized that to date 300 persons have been arrested for vandalism and arson in Northern Palestine.
