Report Shechita Restrictions in Poland Will Be Deferred

The Jewish newspaper, Haint, reports that execution of the recently-enacted law restricting kosher slaughtering would be postponed indefinitely because of objections raised by Christian meat dealers who feared an increase in the price of non-kosher meat. The report could not be confirmed from any other source.
