Spurred by the Arab threat to the Jewish homeland, representatives of Zionist groups considered today establishment of a widened political committee with headquarters in Jerusalem and London to embrace all Zionist bodies and include for the first time the non-Zionist Agudath Israel, extreme orthodox organization.
The joint meeting of the General Zionist Federation and the World Mizrachi, orthodox Zionist group, with the Zionist Executive participating, cabled a message of encouragement to Dr. Chaim Weizmann, president of the Jewish Agency for Palestine, who is in London.
