Julius Caplikas, Minister of Interior, said today in a statement that the Government would introduce a special bill into Parliament to assure Jewish representation by coopting Jewish members.

The statement came while Jewish circles were expressing resentment that names of Jewish nominees were recently stricken off Parliament election lists despite the promise made by Minister Caplikas that the Jews would have at least two members in Parliament.
