An international conference on Jewish social work concluded its sessions here today with a discussion of Jewish immigration problems.
A resolution was adopted to convoke the next meeting in 1940, in connection with the fourth international conference for social work. In the interim it was decided to maintain contact with Jewish social workers of all countries.
The decision was welcomed by Dr. Maurice J. Karpf, director of the Graduate School for Jewish Social Service of New York, who declared the conference had proved “most useful in providing a new impulse for future work.”
