Report German Anti-semitic Documents Seized in Barcelona

The Manchester Guardian reported today that German documents revealing anti-Semitic propaganda in Spain and Spanish Morocco, had been seized in Barcelona.

Among the documents was a memorandum outlining German policy and stressing the Moroccans’ need of making friends with “master peoples,” the report said.

The memorandum was quoted as referring to the Jews as acting “as though they were the masters.” It added:

“We must continue the fight begun against them at home. This alone would, all things apart, bring Moslems over to our side.”

The document pointed out that the Moslems were strongly for Hitler because of the Reichsfuehrer’s fight against the Jews, the Guardian stated.
