The Reich Chamber of Culture yesterday ordered Jewish art dealers of Berlin to sell out or auction off their stock at the earliest possible date, since Jews will be prohibited from dealing in art objects by the end of the year.

The Essener Nazional Zeitung demanded that Jews be prohibited from dealing in Stock Exchange issues, pointing out that the market shows a small demand for the four per-cent German issues, while the demand for foreign issues, paying an average of only two percent, is constantly growing. This situation is attributable “to the fact that Jews are still influencing German Stock Exchange transactions, ” the paper said.
